SEALING SOLUTIONS
For applications ranging from PCR and Real Time PCR to ELISA and cell culture, Axygen films are the easy and cost effective way to seal your plates. Available in sticky sheet format and heat seal sheet or roll formats.

• Lids are available in polypropylene and polystyrene; lids provide an easy way to cover most microplates
• An extensive range of ImpermaMats™ offer excellent protection for applications involving aggressive solvents

Plate Sealing
Each ‘well-sealer’ incorporates a ‘scored’ area for puncturing by a syringe needle which allows samples to be dispensed and/or aspirated even while the AxyMat is in place. Once punctured each ‘well-sealer' will reseal itself, ensuring an airtight seal to the well.

Axygen offers an extensive array of plate sealing options suitable for any preference or application.

PCR AxyMats™ are research-grade silicone sealing mats designed for long or short-term sample storage and PCR. They are autoclavable and reusable.

Compression and Expansion AxyMats are ideal for sealing plates during thermal cycling. Thicker than PCR AxyMats, these form an optimal seal between the cycler's heated lid and the wells, eliminating evaporation and well-to-well contamination. They are autoclavable and reusable.

Axygen 8-strip caps applied to multi-well microplates offer a quick and effective way to seal selected rows and subsequently access individual wells.

ThermalSeal is ideal for PCR applications as it eliminates evaporation and well-to-well contamination. It is also useful for sample storage and transport. Made of 2 mil pressureresistant polypropylene film.

AluminumSeal is designed for high throughput screening applications, but is also popular for long-term storage, transport and PCR.
SealPlate is ideal for ELISA/EIA applications. It is a 2 mil polyester based film with acrylic adhesive.

Single Well and Multiple Well Reservoirs are a complete line of reagent vessels in numerous formats for automated and manual applications. All are designed with an ANSI/SBS footprint for compatibility with most automation workstations and are made of virgin polypropylene for excellent chemical resistance.

AxyMats™ are patented sealing mats designed for high throughput screening and storage applications. Made of research-grade silicone, they can be autoclaved. Following a bleach wash and ethanol rinse protocol, they
can be reused. AxyMats are piercable and self-sealing, ideal for automated processes and can be used in sub-zero environments.

Chemically Resistant ImpermaMats™ are a chemical-resistant line of sealing mats made for use in assays involving strong solvents such as DMSO and similarly harsh solvents. Specifically designed for Axygen deep well plates and microplates, they contain no extractables to contaminate samples. ImpermaMats feature a tight seal to the plate to reduce evaporation and well to well contamination. Usable within a wide temperature range, from -80°C to +121°C. They are reusable.
